Position Tracking board documentation

The Virtuality 2000 series utilized an advanced magnetic field position tracking system for the Visette and Space Joystick. InsideTrak was the improved model of Polhemus' tracking system, one that fit "inside" the PC (on a single large ISA card).

Knowledge of this system is not required to operate the Virtuality system, but for the sake of documenting this obsolete product, here is its manual.

SD 1000 wiring diagram

Here is an overall wiring diagram for the sit-down 1000 series Virtuality cabinet. As with the Format board drawing, this is a composite of multiple (incomplete) letter size scans, so bits are missing here and there.

This is the last post of documents that has passed through my hands personally. Pretty sure I don't have any more.

Let the gathering begin...

I'm beginning a project to scan and post documentation on Virtuality.
Let me acknowledge first a few of those who have gone before me. These are great resources if you are trying to make sense of Virtuality systems.
